Make a Festive Wreath

Join local sustainable florist, Heather from Studio Persephone, to celebrate the upcoming festive session by creating a wreath for your door or as a gift idea for others.

Come along to our last workshop for 2022, where the facilitator will teach you easy ways to use Australian-grown botanicals along with sustainable materials and techniques for your festive decoration.

All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring items from your own garden or holiday collections to integrate into your wreath.

A light snack, tea and coffee will be provided.

Studio Persephone in Summer Hill uses only Australian-grown flowers, botanicals and plants in their arrangements and minimises their environmental impact by using no floral foam, reducing waste and purchasing carbon off-sets for vehicle use, among other sustainability practices.

This free workshop is presented by the Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council. It is for residents of the Inner West local government area and priority will be given to Inner West residents.
