Introduction to Bokashi

February 7, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Learn how to compost using the Bokashi method at this free webinar

Are you looking for ways to lower your carbon footprint and start composting at home? After taking part in this workshop you’ll learn that producing ‘black gold’ is within reach, even if you live in an apartment or home without a garden.

Compostable Kate will show you how to significantly improve your current household waste management via the easy method of Bokashi composting. She will:

  • outline how to set up and manage a Bokashi
  • troubleshoot issues
  • show how to process the fermented waste via three key methods: adding it to a compost bin, a soil factory or directly in the earth.

This workshop is ideal for individuals and households looking to reduce what they send to landfill.

Kate is a sustainability educator and an avid composter. She is on a mission to help others improve their household waste management, by making compost education fun and accessible to all.

Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully please let us know.
