This free 2-hour interactive session will focus on what you already own and offer a fresh look at how to be more daring with your existing fashion pieces whilst developing an approach that means you re-wear pieces multiple times and in different ways. We’re often looking to the shops for answers, but perhaps we should be looking into our own wardrobes.
Our fabulous facilitators, Jo Gambale (Slogue) & Ali Dibley (Bell Street) from the Questioning Fashion Podcast will explore the fashion waste issue and help you work through your fashion woes. They’ll talk about waste in fashion industry – how much water/electricity/resources/hours of labour required to create the clothes that are often unused or thrown away.
Then they’ll move onto demonstrating outfit options, share some fashion hacks and answer your styling questions. This will cover the common issues for women and their wardrobe items, eg:
• ‘it’s too extra and I have nowhere to wear it’
• ‘it’s the wrong size/fit/shape’
• ‘it doesn’t suit my lifestyle anymore’
• ‘it’s damaged’
For some guaranteed wardrobe inspiration, vintage & second-hand fashion chat and a whole lot of fun, join us for this celebration of style without the guilt and having to spend a cent.
