Youth Week: Cycling in the City (on-road bike safety skills)
April 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pmFree
For Youth Week (16-24 April), we’re encouraging young people in the Inner West to jump on their bikes and enjoy cycling in the local area.
Rediscover the joy of cycling in this free session led by Pedal Set Go, bike education experts. This session will enable you to feel safe and build confidence whilst riding in the city.
You will learn about road rules, your rights and responsibilities, tips on route planning, communicating with other road users and bike control skills. We’ll finish with a led ride to put some of the theory and skills into practice. There’ll be lots of time for questions at various stop-off points along the route.
