THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Food waste makes up 36% of the average garbage bin in the Inner West council area. Learn how to avoid food waste at this waste-free cooking demonstration.
We’ll show you how to repurpose common leftovers into a delectable Middle Eastern banquet. You’ll learn how to use up forgotten veggies from your crisper, reimagine leftovers and preserve your off-cuts. You’ll get to taste the food, and we’ll share lots of food waste tips and tricks.
This demonstration-style workshop will be presented by Evan Pemberton of Seed 2 Soul workshops. Evan and Nicole Pemberton love to share their love of nutrition, sustainability and wholefood cooking through Seed2Soul workshops. Using knowledge and expertise to combine Public Health and Health science (nutrition and naturopathy) with practical skills of commercial cookery and facilitation to create focused workshops guided towards creating a sustainable future.
