Do you have unloved clothes hanging in your wardrobe, that you don’t know how to wear or style in an interesting way? Do you want to reduce the amount of new clothes you buy and your reliance on fast fashion?
If yes, then this free workshop is for you. You’ll learn styling tricks and upcycling ideas and be inspired to get more out of the wardrobe you already own. The better you know your own wardrobe, the better you will become at tackling unsustainable shopping habits.
Bring with you a small selection of items from your own wardrobe that you don’t have the confidence to wear or don’t know how to style. Or perhaps some old favourites that need some panache.
Our facilitator is Joanne Gambale, Vogue contributor and sustainable fashion stylist with a difference: she only deals in quality secondhand, consignment and great vintage clothes. Her Slogue service advocates slow fashion – a movement that promises to be the antidote to this era’s cheap and unethical fast fashion industry. Joanne will help you style your own clothes and you’ll also get the chance to integrate them with vintage and second-hand clothes from the Slogue shared wardrobe.
Let’s take a step towards zero waste.
