Seasonal Planting for Autumn
April 10 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pmFree
We are still proceeding, despite the rain. We will start in the hall and move outside if the weather allows.
Learn how to prepare your edible garden for autumn through theory, tips and practical demonstration. Develop an understanding of site planning, soil building and companion planting for pest management, in urban and small space gardens. Find out what to plant as the weather cools and how to prepare your plot or containers to get the best vegie crop.
You will practise seed raising and potting up seedlings to take home so you can start your autumn crop.
Please wear a sun hat and covered shoes. Bring a notepad and pen to take notes, and your own water bottle and snack.
Bookings are essential and numbers are strictly limited.
Priority will be given to Inner West residents. Search by address at the Office of Local Government website to find your local government area.
