July 23, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Learn to compost and worm farm at this introductory workshop

Please note that due to the weather, the event will be at Marrickville Library – Pauline McLeod Room – Learning Room 2.

Composting and worm farming are an easy and important step towards becoming a zero waste community, and to improving your gardening by enriching your soil.

In this workshop we’ll explore:

  • The differences and similarities between composting and worm farming
  • How to set up and maintain each system
  • What to put in and what to leave out

We will be giving away some wonderful composting prizes on the day.

Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully please let us know. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and has an accessible toilet, lift access to the library car park and a hearing loop is available.

This workshop is presented by Inner West Council. Entry is free for residents of the Inner West Council area and priority will be given to Inner West residents. If you are unsure you can search by address at the Office of Local Government website to find your local government area.
