Guided cycle from EDGE GreenWay to Newtown

Join bicycle education professionals Pedal Set Go on the return journey from EDGE GreenWay 2022 to Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (the Hub).

This guided ride will leave from Superorganism (Site 8, Canal Road Lilyfield) at 5pm, with an estimated 6pm arrival in Newtown.

Bicycle lights are essential with limited street lighting along several sections of route. As the sun goes down the group will ride the same route as the journey in. Pedal Set Go can help with all your questions about riding at night. The urban spaces will take on a different feel as the sun sets. The group will stop briefly to hear the sounds of the green spaces. Can anyone identify the frogs, insects and other sounds of the approaching night?

• bike lights
• correctly fitting Australian/NZ Standard helmet
• covered shoes
• comfortable clothes
• water bottle
• snack
